Camilla from Noosa Handmade is one crafty Swede!
"Growing up in Sweden I was taught by my mum and granny how to sew, I was influenced by my dad's creativity and handiness, and I was born with a never ending love for colours!
I have always been creating accessories, painting, making gifts and interior decorating, and I believe inspiration is the most beautiful thing in life.
The Scandinavian forest and nature is my biggest source of inspiration. Green is my all-time favourite colour and combined with wood it is magical!"
How long have you been doing what you do?
How did you get started?
I have always wanted to do something with my creativity and can not keep my fingers off cute pendants and colourful beads! I have written a blog post about how I got started with my business.
What is your greatest inspiration?
My greatest inspiration is beautiful colour combinations that I can spot everywhere - nature, magazines, clothes, logos, home decor, etc!
What is the greatest challenge to owning your own creative business?
The greatest challenge... to decide if it should be considered a business or a hobby. How much time and effort can I afford to put in it?
What is the best experience owning your own creative
The best experience was to sell the first pieces! To see that someone actually loves the piece and its colours as much as I do! It's always fun to spread a bit of colour and love to the rest of the world!
