Mother Nature Skin Essentials was established in November 2015. How did you get started? My journey to creating natural skincare began after becoming a mother trying to seek out natural safe skincare products for my children which back 3-4 years ago was difficult and not a lot of truly natural, 100% chemical free and affordable skincare options available on the market. I began experimenting with essential oils making blends and balms to help treat and assist with different health issues from eczema flare up (which we were caused from synthetic preservatives and artificial fragrances in mainstream products), asthma and cold and flu blends which have supported our respiratory and immune system health. This sparked the beginning of my journey into formulating a whole range of all natural, affordable and effective skincare products. A year after experimenting trailing and testing and offering products to family and friends with great feedback I decided to launch Mother Nature Skin Essentials which has just blossomed into this huge passion of mine. What is your greatest inspiration? My inspiration for creating my products comes from a love of nature the environment and living a tox-free sustainable lifestyle. My products are created with earth-friendly plant based ingredients that are free of micro beads, pollutants and chemicals which are harmful to our environment. Along with sourcing ingredients that come from ethical fair trade practises and are all vegan friendly and cruelty- free. What is the greatest challenge to owning and operating your own business? The greatest challenge would be keeping up with all aspects of running a business from formulating, photography, marketing, bookkeeping there is a lot of multitasking going on and just prioritising my time between family and business can be challenging at times. What is the best thing about owning your own creative business? Having the freedom and flexibility to be able to work from home, fulfil my passion and raise our three girls. It’s my hope they grow up inspired to chase their dreams and aspirations also. |

I am a mother to three girls (3, 5 and 7 years old) a lover of the ocean, nature and living a clean holistic lifestyle. My journey began when the girls were young trying to seek natural skincare alternatives to use on their skin and myself. I was left frustrated by the amount of hidden nasties and chemicals that was in so called ‘natural’ mainstream products this inspired me to create a range of truly natural affordable and effective Skincare products without all the hidden toxic chemicals. Mother Nature Skin Essentials offers earth-friendly organic skin care, personal care and baby care products. Each product is exclusively formulated to be rich in organic cold pressed plant oils, wild crafted essential oils and herbal extracts. All raw ingredients are ethically sourced fair-trade and vegan friendly. Designed to hydrate, soften, balance and improve the overall health of your skin. Providing you with the best natural skincare alternatives you can trust. I am passionate about reducing our environmental impact by using packaging that is reusable or recyclable along with plant based ingredients which reduce the washing of harmful chemicals/mircobeads/pollutants into our waterways, rivers and oceans.
